Central India Christian Mission
A Message from Dr. Ajai Lall

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

My travels for the National Missionary Convention started in late August. I left home on August 18 and since then I've been traveling and speaking in Bible Colleges and churches. Following the 54th National Missionary Convention (October 25-28) I will be back in India, hopefully by November 1, the Lord willing. During the two months of traveling for the convention I will have spoken in about 80 sessions. Please pray that God will use my messages to challenge and motivate many people for world evangelism.

At Johnson Bible College during their Mission Emphasis Week 75, students came forward making their decision to go into cross-cultural ministries to reach the unreached people groups. During my trip, I will visit 12 Bible Colleges. Please keep the student in your prayers.

Back in India, things are moving well. Indu is doing a great job of overseeing the ministry. We started a new medical training program with 75 students. These students will be trained for paramedical work such as lab technicians, x-ray technicians and nursing aides. We are excited about this. Most of these students are Christians and can use their training for tent making types of trade as they carry the good news of Jesus Christ. We need to add some facilities to host these students and have more classroom space.

A team went to work in Orissa to provide food to 310 families in three areas where the villages were under water. International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) provided the funds to help these families.

I hope and pray that many of your will be participating in the National Missionary Convention in Tulsa. Indu and the children will be there. It was not easy to come to the U.S. and leave the family in India.

I am thankful to each of your for your prayers and financial support to the work of CICM. I am especially thankful to you for your prayers for our family as it is difficult to be separated. It was even harder when Lashi was sick with malaria and typhoid.

Our America friends have provided wonderful support to me. I am overwhelmed by your love, prayers, and concern for us. May we always be faithful to His calling in whatever situation we are in. Hope to see you in Tulsa.

With a grateful heart,
Ajai Lall
